SanEcon improves care through innovation

SanEcon BV: the business incubator for innovations in outpatient care


Many innovations are not successful because there is not enough know-how available in the start-up stage of an innovation in healthcare. SanEcon has the knowledge, experience and resources to guide the start-up process to a successful end.

SanEcon wants to get into contact with scientists and aspiring entrepreneurs that have developed promising ideas or products that could be applied in outpatient care. SanEcon specializes in ideas and products that deal with health and employment, but also develops products and services for the rehabilitation and primary care.
SanEcon is also interested in the spin-off opportunities to discuss, directly initiated by universities and life science institutes.

SanEcon BV is cofounded by the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam. Therefore SanEcon is supported  by AMC and its Knowledge Transfer Office. Two occupational physicians are in charge, they are not only physicians but  also researcher and manager. They have management experience, knowledge of hospital care and they have a large network in outpatient care and particularly in the world of work and health, at home and abroad.

The role is that of SanEcon business incubator. SanEcon participates actively in the project to the idea of making a product or service, and helps with anything that is needed.
